This is my dog Pascal!
Pascal is a 2, almost 3 year old mini longhaired dachshund who loves to train!
Meet Pascal!
Pascal came to me as a 7-month-old pup, who was actually raised with six cats (which is very clear once you get to know him)!
He has a very high prey drive and is heavily toy-motivated. His favorite thing to do is chase the flirt pole, or chase his (much larger!) brother, Winston, in the yard.
Pascal loves his humans but still has a hard time with excessive barking at strangers, but we work on it every day. He is a very loving, very sweet dog despite this.
Pascal loves to train tricks and likes to show off his "roll over" or his water bottle retrieving skills (you read that right... he likes to bring his humans water bottles when he can reach them!).
Pascal is my first dachshund and has taught me so much. He reminds me to stay calm and to regulate myself in order to help him stay regulated. He also opened my eyes to what it's like to have a reactive dog, which has in turn made me relate with our clients on another level. I am so grateful for my tiny but mighty little guy.
One day, I would love to get involved with a dog sport to give him more breed fulfillment activities! I think he'd love Fast CAT, barn hunts, and lure coursing.

Pascal has already done quite a bit of traveling in his almost 3 years of life. He's been to Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. He loves riding in the car and is the best co-pilot!
Pascal loves soft treats!
He is a smidge picky on textures of treats. He does not like hard, baked treats, but loves a crispy dried fish or duck foot!
His favorite human food snack is...
CHEESE!
and his favorite toy is...
Whatever his brother currently has! Or, any type of ball he can chase. He likes to throw them or roll them for himself if his humans are too slow!
